TERMS OF SERVICE

Last updated July 25, 2026. By using Dr. Security, you agree to these terms.

The service

Dr. Security runs passive, public security checks against a URL you provide and gives you a findings report with severity and suggested fixes. Free scans cover public, unauthenticated checks only. Deeper checks require you to verify ownership of the target and explicitly consent.

Acceptable use

You may only submit URLs you own or have permission to have scanned. Don't use Dr. Security to scan, harass, or gather intelligence on systems you don't control. We can suspend access for any request that looks abusive or non-consensual.

Payment and refunds

Paid reports (Launch Report) are one-time purchases; Founder Monitor is a recurring subscription you can cancel at any time from your account. If a report fails to generate due to an error on our side, we'll refund or rerun it at no charge.

No warranty on findings

Our checks are a snapshot, not a guarantee. A passing scan doesn't mean your app has no vulnerabilities, and a finding doesn't constitute legal or professional security advice. Use our reports as one input to your own security decisions, not the only one.

Limitation of liability

Dr. Security is provided on an "as is" basis. To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service or reliance on a report.

Termination

You can stop using the service or cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or the Scan Policy.

Changes to these terms

We'll update this page if these terms change and note the date above. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
